Weather Changes Forecasted Late This Weekend


The National Weather Service has announced that significant weather changes are expected late this weekend through early next week. Warm and dry weather is expected to decrease as a low pressure system reaches the area. Temperatures will drop to regular fall temperatures with periods of clouds and some showers. Mountain areas above 65-hundred feet will experience moderate to strong winds today and tomorrow. A forecast of two to five inches of rain possible in coastal areas by Sunday. Wind chill may become a factor in many areas. A cold front will bring the first significant rainfall of the season over most of the area late Sunday through Monday. More storms are forecast to follow Tuesday through Thursday next week.
