Anglers Fishing Regulations Proposal by ODFW

K-DOCK 92.9

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will outline a new process for anglers proposing new or modified fishing regulations for 2013 at an open house in Charleston on February 7th. According to ODFW fish biologist Mike Gray, the agency solicits public proposals for changes to the fishing regulations every four years. ODFW has modified the procedure to put more emphasis on local biologists screening proposals to see if they meet established criteria. The open house will be held at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology dining hall at 63466 Boat Basin Drive in Charleston from 6 to 8pm on the February 7th
