SOCC’s Newly Constructed Curry Campus Honors Krieger

One hundred friends and donors of the Curry campus celebrated last night in the newly constructed campus that opened for winter term. The dinner was hosted by the Southwestern Oregon Community College Foundation. The college president, Dr. Patty Scott, told supporters that the largest classroom space will be named the Krieger Community Room to honor Wayne Krieger and his dedication to the development of the new Curry campus. Krieger secured $2.3 million from the state of Oregon years ago and promoted a $400,000 appropriation for the Curry Campus.
