Test Of Pony Creek Dam Warning System On Monday


The Coos Bay North Bend Water Board has announced they will be performing a test of the Pony Creek Dam warning system on Monday morning. The test of sirens will give the public a chance to hear what the dam failure warning sounds like. Sirens are at the North Bend High School and at the Water Board service center. The sirens will be activated at 9am this Monday the 16th and will consist of a three minute on-off siren blast and 15 seconds on, 10 seconds off, that would represent a dam failure.
