Search Continues For Missing North Bend Man

The Coos County Sheriff’s office and Coos County Search and Rescue members are still searching for a missing North Bend man. Early Wednesday morning, police found a vehicle parked off the Transpacific Parkway in the North Spit area, north of North Bend. The vehicle is registered to 59-year-old Wyman Wade Weathersby, who was last seen eight days ago, leaving his home reportedly to go to the beach. He is described as 5 feet 9 inches, 200 lbs., short brown hair, grey eyes and a goatee. Last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue denim jacket. Weathersby is known to be an insulin dependent diabetic and allegedly did not take medication with him. The Coos County Sheriff’s office, joined by multiple law enforcement agencies, continued their search yesterday until about 5:30pm but no sign of Weathersby was found. Search operations are planned to resume this morning at 8am. Anyone with information about Wyman Weathersby’s location please call 541-396-2106.
