SWOCC to host High School All Star Basketball Series


On March 17 Southwestern Oregon Community College will host the 3rd annual South Coast High School All Star Basketball Series. The event plans to involve coaches and players from the eleven public schools between Brookings-Harbor and Siuslaw in Florence. Eight to ten players will be selected for each team from each league to participate on the Blue or Red teams. The girl’s game will begin at 5:00 p.m. and the boy’s game will begin immediately following. At 1:00 there will be a pre-game banquet at the Oregon Coast Culinary Institute on the SWOCC campus. The Public is welcome to attend the BBQ for $5.
