Three People Found Alive-Missing Since January 29th

Three missing people in the Kimble Hill area have been found. Police were joined by over 100 searchers on Saturday from Oregon, and Northern California. A helicopter pilot radioed they had spotted the missing subjects. Due to the terrain, the Coast Guard dropped a basket and air lifted 47-year old Daniel and Belinda Conne and their 25-year-old son Michael, out of the ravine and to the Gold Beach airport where a life flight took them to Curry General Hospital. The dog, which was with the Conne’s, was walked out by the foot teams and will be kept at the county animal shelter until the Connes can pick her up. Daniel and Belinda Conne, were dehydrated and hungry. Michael Conne had a sprained ankle and frost bite to his feet. No other injuries were noted by the rescue teams. The Connes who had been missing since Sunday, January 29th, had found shelter in a hollow tree. They had originally been last seen in Huntley Park on the Rogue River.
