Flood Warning continues for the Coquille River


The National Weather Service continues a Flood Warning for the Coquille river at Coquille. At 9:30 last night the stage was 24 feet…Flood stage is 21 feet. Moderate flooding is occurring and will continue into today.  The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by tomorrow morning.  Homes and roads are threatened in low-lying areas along and near the Coquille river. Expect widespread flooding throughout the Coquille river estuary to Myrtle Point.
