Commissioners To Conduct Final Meeting On Administrator
Coos County Commissioners will conduct a final public meeting today to discuss options of putting out a measure to voters that would ask the public to vote on whether to hire a county administrator and increase the number of commissioners from three to five, and offer those commissioners a small monthly stipend. Comments from the public will be heard. At the conclusion of the meeting, commissioners will vote on the issues of adopting the ordinance and referring it to a vote of the electors of Coos County in November. This meeting will be held in the large conference room in the Owen Building in Coquille at 9am.
