Mass Casualty Exercise At North Bend Airport This Afternoon


Emergency Response Agencies will be participating in a full scale mass casualty exercise at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport this afternoon. The scenario is an airbus 319 charter with 52 passengers that has crashed during take-off due to a mechanical failure. Volunteers will be triage by first responders and taken to Bay Area Hospital for processing, then transported back to the airport. Volunteers will be at the airport for this casualty exercise by 5pm. The exercise will start promptly at 6 tonight.
