ODOT Road Repair In Reedsport–Expect Detours

K-DOCK 92.9

The Oregon Department of Transportation is informing all drivers that grinding and repair work on highway 38 at the railroad crossing in downtown Reedsport will require a detour starting this morning. Detours are in place to redirect drivers to use Winchester Avenue. North Douglas Crew manager Tim Lollar says “ The grinding and paving work requires dry conditions, so we’re keeping an eye on the weather report. We want to grind out the roadway, fix some potholes and smooth out the area around the railroad crossing.” This project is scheduled to last until 12 Noon today.
