Oregon Coast Chamber Orchestra Peforms November 11th

Songs from “Brigadoon” and two originals by Charles Perkins will highlight the Fall concert of the Oregon Coast Chamber Orchestra . The Reedsport concert, which continues the second decade of bringing live music to coastal audiences, will be a matinee on Sunday, November 11 at 2pm in the Pacific Auditorium on the grounds of the Reedsport Community Charter Schools.

Tickets at $10 each are now on sale at the Umpqua Bank in Reedsport. They can also be purchased at the door on the afternoon of the program. A season ticket package, containing tickets for the Fall, Winter and Spring concerts is also available for a reduced price of $25.

A wide array of selections from classical to pop will be the pattern for the coming season. This concert begins with the spirited “dance of the Tumblers,” by Rimsky-korsakov and ends with Bizet’s Farandole from “LÂ’Arlesienne Suite.”

Directing OCCO for this program is Associate Conductor John Monks. Concertmaster of OCCO is Barbara Wilcox.
