Courthouses Reporting Bomb Threats—No Reports Confirmed

K-DOCK 92.9

Several county courthouses in Oregon received phoned in bomb threats yesterday. These threats appear to be similar to reports received November 15th in Washington State and November 2nd in Nebraska which were unfounded. Some of the locations reported evacuations while police checked for suspicious objects but none of the reports confirmed finding any. The Oregon State Police headquarters in Salem received a similar report and the building was evacuated, then allowed employees back in. OSP Hazardous Device technicians have not responded to any locations at this time because of no confirmed findings. All county courthouses fall under the security jurisdiction of each respected county courthouse.
