Holiday Lights A Feast For The Eyes


At least 300,000 holiday and landscaping LED lights are on display from now through New Years Eve south of Coos Bay. A visit to the 20th Annual Holiday Lights at Shore Acres State Park is a tradition in Coos County–and attracts up to 60,000 visitors each season. Over 20 holiday trees, life-size whales, butterflies, diving seals. lighted sculptures and topiary. It’s a walk through display that also offers hot cider, punch, coffee and cookies from 4pm to 9:30pm every night, including on Christmas Eve. The Performance Pavilion offers live entertainment. Shore Acres is located 13 miles Southwest of Coos Bay. Admission is $5 per vehicle–a parking fee. Get more information online at www.shoreacres.net.
