Former Coos County Commissioner John Griffith Has Died



Former Coos County Commissioner John Griffith died over the weekend. He was reportedly vacationing out of the country. Griffith was a vocal advocate for Coos County. He was on the Ocean Policy Advisory Council from 1998-2002, numerous boards, committees and commissions. He was also a representative on the Association of O&C Counties, and the Council of Forest Trust Land Counties. Services for John Griffith are pending.
