High Surf Advisory



The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a high surf advisory…which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 10 am PST Tuesday.

* Waves and surf…wind waves will build rapidly this evening producing breakers of 20 to 23 feet. The highest surf is expected along south facing ports and beaches…and will result in hazardous conditions and dangerous rip currents.

* Timing…conditions will deteriorate quickly this evening with the highest breakers expected between midnight and daybreak. Waves should subside steadily after noon on Tuesday.
