Winter Storm Watch / High Surf Advisory

A STRONG WINTER STORM WILL BRING SNOW AND STRONG WINDS TO
PORTIONS OF THE AREA THIS MORNING. SNOW INTENSITY WILL DECREASE THIS AFTERNOON AND SNOW LEVELS WILL FALL WITH SNOW ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE AT LOWER ELEVATIONS TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 4PM TUESDAY. A WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON ABOVE 1500 FEET. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ABOVE 500 FEET. 3 TO 6 INCHES
POSSIBLE ABOVE 1500 FEET.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ALSO ISSUED A HIGH SURF
ADVISORY
. IN EFFECT UNTIL 4PM MONDAY. THE HIGH SURF WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED. AS WINDS BECOME MORE WESTERLY TONIGHT, HIGH SURF WILL BECOME DRIVEN BY INCREASING WEST SWELS, WHICH WILL PEAK MONDAY. THIS WILL CAUSE BREAKERS BETWEEN 20 AND 25 FEET TO CONTINUE. WAVES WILL
DECREASE LATE MONDAY AFTERNOON AS SWELLS SUBSIDE.
