Taxpayers of all ages with low to moderate incomes can have questions about their taxes answered and their tax returns prepared and e-filed. Trained volunteers work for the Tax-Aide Program which is sponsored by the IRS and AARP. This is the nation’s largest free tax preparation and assistance program.

Four tax sites are available in Coos County: Bandon, Coquille, Lakeside, and North Bend. Taxpayers need to bring photo identification, Social Security card, 2011 tax return and 2012 tax information.
