Seafood, Music, More At Confluence In Reedsport

K-DOCK 92.9

Reedsport is rockin’ and everyone is invited! The 2013 Confluence Wine, Beer, Seafood and Music Festival. Saturday and Sunday, February 16th, 11am-10pm and February 17th, 11am-7pm. Don’t miss the chance to check out the collaboration of talented and experienced musicians from around the area. Six great bands onstage, from the Jim Mesi Band with Portland’s hottest guitar player, Agents of Unity, Border Patrol country band, to The Essentials R&B show band, Soul Vaccination classic R&B dance music with horns and Vicky Stevens.

Over 30 vendors, 9 Oregon wineries and Pacific NW breweries. Fans come from miles around to enjoy the rare Umpqua aquaculture oysters grown exclusively in the “triangle” at Winchester Bay. These oysters are planted on long lines and never touch the sandy ocean floor. Best served raw, according to purists, they will be served at Confluence as raw “shooters” with a dab of cocktail sauce, lemon juice or a shake of hot pepper sauce. If you prefer sauteed, or fried, it’s your choice. To wash it down, try an ice cold beer from one of the sponsors Ninkasi or other bubbly brews. Like a nice wine from one of fabulous Oregon wineries? New convenient downtown location, 451 Winchester Ave. Easy access and plenty of parking. Get your toes tappin and your fingers snappin and give it up at Confluence 2013. Must be 21 and older. $10/person/day. Tickets available at the door.
