CCPH Offers Cancer Screenings

K-DOCK 92.9

The Coos County Public Health Department provides a breast and cervical cancer screening program to eligible women 40 to 64 years old. The federally funded program also provides breast cancer screening to eligible men who have symptoms such as a lump in the breast or discharge. This BCC program is for women and men who do not have health insurance, or who have insurance with a high deductible, or have insurance that does not cover annual breast and cervical cancer screenings. If income guidelines are met, the program pays for an office visit, a pap smear and/or a mammogram. Call 541-751-24-38 for information.
