Coos Bay Canine Event To Fight Cancer May 18th

On Saturday, May 18th, everyone is invited to bring their dog to Mingus Park to participate in the Bark For Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Registration is at 10:30am and the walk begins at 11am This a a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness. By supporting the Bark For Life, you help the American Cancer Society save lives, and that helps us move closer to the ultimate goal of a world with less cancer and
more birthdays So bring your best canine friend and join the fun a
day starting with a walk, and then continuing with demonstrations, contests, and games.

Woof’s Happening!
10:30am- Registration & Silent Auction Opens

11am- Opening Ceremony, Survivor
Recognition & Ceremonial Walk

11:30– 1pm Contests: Canine costume, family/canine costume, owner/canine look-a-like, Best canine trick

*Each participant receives a doggy bandana!

Ongoing Activities:
Silent Auction * Photo Booth * Food for sale * Vendor booths * Music

All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Coos Bay/North Bend
