Israeli “F-F-F” Free To Watch At Library

K-DOCK 92.9

The “Friday Foreign Film” series at Coos Bay Public Library continues
at 7pm on Friday, May 10th. This month’s feature is festival
favorite Seven Minutes in Heaven . A film from Israel, 2008.

Mysticism and memory-play collide in this quietly powerful Israeli
neo-noir thriller. Galia has spent the last year recovering from a terrorist bus bombing, and as one would imagine, the extent of her trauma is profound. When her boyfriend Oren—also a victim of the
attack—is removed from life support, Galia must remember the events that surrounded the bombing in order to move forward with her life. A
cherished necklace, returned to her by an unidentified sender; the
appearance of a kind stranger named Boaz, and the newfound knowledge
that a rescue worker had pronounced her dead for a total of seven
minutes all set her on a journey to find the missing pieces of the
puzzle from that horrific day.

The “Friday Foreign Film” series is held on the second Friday
of the month and is free to the public. Many of these films are not
rated and parental discretion is advised. For more information call
