Event To Benefit Egyptian Theatre June 20th

K-DOCK 92.9

The Coach House Restaurant & Lounge, will host an Egyptian Night Out benefit on Thursday, June 20th. Featuring the Coach House’s dinner menu, Egyptian Theatre etched wine glasses will also be offered. Customers get to keep the glass with their purchase of wine. Early reservations are recommended by calling 541-267-5116. A percentage of the proceeds for the evening will be donated to the Theatre’s restoration campaign.

This is the third such restaurant benefit for the Egyptian Theatre Restoration Campaign. Robert More, campaign coordinator, says “this is a fun way for us to engage the community, share a meal together, and raise some money to help get the Egyptian re-opened.” More says the campaign is going very well, with recent major grant awards totaling $300,000 being received from the Ford Family Foundation and the Murdoch Trust. “We are proceeding with the Over-The-Top phase of our campaign. We have our Theatre-Seat Naming project well under way, and are planning a local business canvass in early August. Now is the time for folks who have been holding back to make their donation and help us reach our goal!”

Those wanting more information or to arrange to make a donation can call the Egyptian office at 541-269-8650.
