Boats Made From Cardboard In Lakeside

A day of fun for all ages is happening in Lakeside as the 14th Annual Cardboard Boat Races take to the lake! It’s on Saturday, August 3rd. Boats must be on site before 10am and the races start at 11am at the Coos County Park in Lakeside–Tenmile Lake.

All boats may be constructed of cardboard, tape and plastic only! Entries may be of any design, using muscle power, paddle wheels, propellors, etc. There are race classes for all ages: Pollywogs, Kids, Juniors, Adults and Seniors. Get entry forms at Osprey RV Resort, Ringo’s Lakeside Marina and Hennick’s Building Supply. Prizes will be awarded in several categories. All entries must be ready for display and viewing by 10am.
