Help Them Cap The Pyramid!

K-DOCK 92.9

Helping to restore the Egyptian Theatre, the Over-the-Top event is scheduled for July 31st through August 1st. During the two-day event, two-person teams will be out in the community canvassing local businesses for their support. Sponsoring businesses are encouraging the rest of the business community to support the Egyptian Theatre as it nears completion of its phase one capital campaign.

Campaign Coordinator Bob More says “this is an example of business sponsor support that has included purchase of a marquee advertisement, cash donation, and donation from product sales. We are proud to have such support from community businesses, and greatly appreciate that over 60 have helped us move along our road to success.” With the city currently evaluating construction bids, More says that “Now is the time to step up and donate. Help us cap the Egyptian pyramid so the construction rehab can get underway during the good weather.”

The Over-the-Top event scheduled for July 31st-August 1st is being sponsored by Farr’s True Value Hardware, Maya Graphics, McKay’s Market, Waste Connections, and Yellow Cab. McKay’s will be featuring an 8-piece Deli Chicken Special and will donate a dollar for each sale of the Special.

Those wanting more information or to arrange to make a donation can call the Egyptian office at 541-269-8650.
