Turn In Poachers Through OSP Tipline
Oregon is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Whether the Rocky Mountain Elk of eastern Oregon or the razor clam found on many beaches, the thing that connects us to the wildlife is that it belongs to all of us. Sgt. Todd Hoodenpyl of the Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife Division asks for help from the public. If you encounter or witness a violation of wildlife laws, the men and women of the Oregon State Police urge you to contact the Turn In Poacher Tip Hotline at 1-800-452-7888.
The Turn In Poacher Tipline is a toll free number sponsored by the Oregon Hunters Association, Leopold and Stevens Incorporated, Oregon State Police and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. The tip number can be found on the back of all fishing and hunting licenses sold in Oregon and is also in the Oregon Sport Fishing and Hunting regulation booklets. You can provide information anonymously and cash rewards may be available. Many wildlife cases worked by Oregon State Police troopers every year are solved because of the direct result of information provided by the public. We all have an interest in protecting Oregon’s wildlife, so help them keep others from stealing it from you.
