Update On Isthmus Slough Bridge Work

K-DOCK 92.9

Update! The bridge work has been postponed until next week, February 24th–27th, due to poor weather.

The Oregon Department of Transportation announces that drivers who are traveling between Eastside and downtown Coos Bay next week week should expect intermittent daytime delays of up to 20 minutes at the Isthmus Slough Bridge.

The traffic delays are necessary so that workers can jack up the bridge and replace the bridge bearings. The bridge work is scheduled from 9am to 4pm, Tuesday, February 24th to Friday, February 27th. Flaggers will provide traffic control and message boards will be in place. For more information on road closures and travel conditions, visit www.tripcheck.com.
