OR Coast Music Festival Season Starts July 12th

The 2014 Oregon Coast Music Festival season kicks off Saturday, July 12th. It will be a free concert with the Bay Area Concert Band playing live in Mingus Park at Noon. Throughout July, the OCMF will feature a variety of musical genres like jazz, surf rock, the Gold Coast Chorus and much more. Concerts will be in North Bend, Coos Bay, Charleston and Bandon. On July 12th, it starts in Coos Bay with the Bay Area Concert Band playing live in Mingus Park. Then the Slow Ponies will play at the Hales Center on the campus at Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay. That concert starts at 7pm and is free to the public. A dessert reception will be provided by the Oregon Coast Culinary Institute following the concert in the lobby.

On Sunday, July 13th, the Left Coast Jazz Trio will play at the OIMB Boathouse, 63466 Boat Basin Road, Charleston. That concert starts at 2pm. Call 541-267-0938 for more information.
