Coos Bay Woman Arrested On Burglary Charges

Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of an alleged burglary that had occurred at approximately 8:45pm on August 19th. The homeowner, 30-year-old Nathanial Lintner of Coos Bay, was home with his two small children when an adult female reportedly forced entry into his residence through a window in the children’s bedroom. After a brief encounter between the homeowner and the intruder in the children’s bedroom, the female fled from the home and left on foot. Litner was not injured.

Deputies located the woman and attempted to contact her, when she fled. A foot chase ensued and Deputies caught her a short distance away. The female was identified as 20- year-old Shyann McMillen-Markusson, also of Coos Bay. She was arrested and taken to the Coos County jail and booked on charges of First Degree Burglary, Second Degree Criminal Mischief and a Probation Violation.
