Free Chinook Salmon Presentation At Library

If you want to learn more about the fall run of Chinook salmon in the Coos River Basin, everyone is invited to a presentation in Coos Bay. It will be presented by Christopher Claire, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Habitat Protection Biologist. The event is Friday, January 25th at in the Myrtlewood Room at the library on Anderson Avenue. The 7pm event is free and is hosted by the Coos Watershed Association. The Coos Watershed Association is a local non-profit organization formed in 1994 as a way for people with a wide range of interests to get together and discuss the conditions of the Coos watershed. The Association implements restoration, monitoring, and outreach projects throughout the Coos watershed with the goal of restoring and maintaining healthy, functioning systems.
