National Night Out At The Park

Tuesday August 2, 2011 – 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ferry Road Park in North Bend.

Neighborhoods throughout Coos Bay and North Bend are being invited to join forces with communities nationwide for the 28th annual National Night Out Crime and Drug Prevention event. Live music from Border Patrol and a Kids Magic Show!

National Night Out is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and co-sponsored locally by the City of North Bend and Coos Bay Police Departments.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships and to send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back!

From 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on August 2, neighborhoods throughout Coos Bay and North Bend will join their friends and family for a night of food, fun, music and games!

Ferry Road Park is located off Sherman Avenue (Highway 101) on Ferry Road near the McCullough Bridge.
