South Slough Reserve’s 40th Anniversary Picnic
America’s first national estuarine research reserve is celebrating 40 years of learning and teaching about estuaries. Join South Slough dignitaries, the Friends of South Slough and others for a picnic celebrating the 40th anniversary of this designation. The FOSS will provide grilled tuna, strawberry lemonade, ice tea and cupcakes from Crabby Cakes Bakery—bring your own picnic sides. Take a blanket to sit on the lawn and listen to live music from Che’s Lounge and the Dale Inskeep Band, tour the reserve Interpretive Center exhibits, and stop by the Unclaimed Property booth; you may discover you have something of value headed your way.
