CCCA Brings Lynch To Marshfield

Jesse Lynch Jazz 101 is a multimedia tour of America’s greatest art form. This “jazz through the ages” performance, featuring the Jesse Lynch Trio, will be presented at the Marshfield High School Auditorium in Coos Bay on Saturday, April 5th at 3pm. A limited number of tickets for this performance are available for $15, $10 for students.

Jazz 101 was created by New York jazz artist Jesse Lynch. Pianist, composer, arranger and educator, Lynch has applied his wide-ranging skills to a new multimedia concert production chronicling the history of jazz. Repertoire spans New Orleans classics through Lynch’s own compositions. Lynch is accompanied by fellow New York jazz aces Joe Michaels (bass) and Matt Smallcomb (drums). Each member has a bio typical of the new wave of jazz instrumentalists – classical training with academic and professional connections to traditional jazz, funk, pop and world music. Lynch has toured nationally with Daniel Rodriguez and “The American Tenors.” The Trio’s first album, “Intuition,” was released in 2009.

Season tickets to Coos County Community Concert Association 2014-2015 series are now available; subscriptions to the five-concert lineup are $45, $15 for students. For more information call 541-269-1272 or visit the Coos County Community Concert Association’s website at
