Christmas Tree Lighting In North Bend

Everyone is invited to join the community of North Bend in starting the holiday season at the Community Center.

Festivities begin at 5:45pm. Santa will be arriving at 6, just in time to help Mayor Wetherell light the Christmas tree. Santa will hand out treats to all of the boys and girls following the tree lighting. The City of North Bend will be giving away a boy & girl bicycle this year, thanks to North Bend Sanitation—children up to the age of 12 will be eligible to win. One girl and one boy will be selected to win after Santa has heard all of the Christmas wishes. (The children must be present to win).

The Boys & Girls Club will have crafts available from 6 – 7pm and The Portland Bagel Company will be joining this year to provide coffee and delectable bagel samplings! Enjoy beverages & treats from the North Bend Downtown Association, and K-Dock radio will be onsite providing music by Bay Area Teen Idol contestants.

And to top it all off, the North Bend Fire Department will be giving antique fire truck rides around the neighborhood. It all starts at 5:45!
