Confederated Tribe Names New CEO to Run Casino Operations

The Gaming Review Board of the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians has named a new CEO to operate its Three Rivers Casino Resort in Florence.  Longtime gaming executive Jerry West will take over management of the casino beginning September 1st.  Chief Warren Brainard says the tribe is excited about his leadership skills and despite change being difficult, it looks forward to seeing the vision for the resort and community carried out.  West has operated or managed casino operations all over the country, including Casino Magic Bay in St. Louis, Caesar’s Indiana in Indiana and Spirit Mountain Resort in Oregon.  The Confederated Tribe of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians has a resort in Florence that opened in 2004, but also operates a Casino in Coos Bay.
