Coos County Commissioner Melissa Cribbins has tendered her resignation today from LCDC

Coos County Commissioner Melissa Cribbins has tendered her resignation today from the Land Conservation and Development Commission. Cribbins cites the recent DLCD decision on the eve of the FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) hearing regarding Jordan Cove Energy Project and the Pacific Connector Pipeline as the reason. According to her resignation letter, Cribbins states that she was assured by the Governor’s office and involved agencies would proceed in the Oregon Way. She called the DLCD denial political and said it was not transacted in a fair and above-board manner. She served on the committee for six years to ensure Coos County was represented.
