Court Of Appeals Upholds McGuffin Conviction

The Oregon Court of Appeals has announced its decision in the case of the State of Oregon vs. James McGuffin.

The Court of Appeals has affirmed the conviction of McGuffin without issuing a formal opinion. McGuffin was convicted of First Degree Manslaughter in 2011, for the death of Leah Freeman. McGuffin is currently serving the remainder of his 120 month prison sentence which Judge Richard Barron imposed on him in 2011. McGuffin is being held at the Snake River Correctional Institute near Ontario, Oregon. McGuffin’s earliest release date is August 22nd, 2020.
