DMV + Coos County Sheriff Main Office Closed

All Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles offices will be closed for the statewide furlough day today. The closure is the seventh of ten state-wide mandatory unpaid furlough days for employees scheduled through June 2013. The DMV urges customers to do business by mail or online, if possible, or plan their visits to DMV after Monday, November 26th. For a list of DMV offices and their business hours, go to

The Coos County Sheriffs Office has announced that, due to the state courts at the courthouse in Coquille being closed, the Sheriff’s office main business office at the Coos County Courthouse in Coquille will also be closed. The services for fingerprinting and concealed weapons permits will not be available.
