Early morning crash between Sheriff’s Deputy and Bandon Resident

The Coos County Crash team continues its investigation into the crash that sent two drivers, one a deputy sheriff, to a Portland Hospital this morning. The accident happened south of Coos Bay at the intersection of Highway 101 and Highway 42 shortly after 7:00 this morning. 58-year-old Connie Walle of Bandon and Deputy Doug Miller were taken to Bay Area Hospital and later flown to Oregon Health Sciences University with non-life threatening injuries. Neither crash victim has been interviewed because of their injuries.
