Employer Council Seminar On Workplace Drug Issues


The South Coast Oregon Employer Council will host “Workplace Drug and Alcohol Issues”, a seminar presented by The Bureau of Labor and Industries Technical Assistance for Employers Unit. This interactive presentation will explore marijuana issues in the workplace, as well as other drugs. The seminar will also touch upon the legal and illegal use of prescription medication and the use and abuse of alcohol in the workplace. This seminar is targeted toward human resources personnel, business owners, managers and front line supervisors who will be dealing with these issues in the near future.
 
Registration: The seminar will be held on Thursday, April 20th at the South Coast Education Service District, 1350 Teakwood, Coos Bay. Check-in starts at 7:30am and the seminar runs from 8 until Noon and is open to the public. The registration fee is $59 per person.
