Former School Employee Sentenced on Sodomy Charges

A former Bandon School employee has been sentenced to 25 years in prison and is awaiting a federal court date on child pornography charges.  32-year-old Sean Jeffrey Haga pled guilty to one count of First Degree Sodomy against a female victim.  He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.  The sentence is required because the victim was under the age of 12.  According to District Attorney Paul Frasier, Haga will serve the entire sentence and will not be eligible for any form of parole or early release under provisions of Jessica’s Law.  The charges stemmed from an FBI  investigation into child pornography in June of 2016.  Haga will be returned to federal custody for the prosecution in federal court.  The school district severed employment with Haga following his arrest.  Frasier stressed the investigation has not developed any evidence that any other person or child was a victim.
