High Surf Advisory From 8pm Tuesday Through 11am Wednesday

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a High Surf Advisory in effect from 8pm Tuesday until Wednesday at 11am. Expect northwest swells of 14 to 17 feet with breaker heights of 22 to 25 feet on unobstructed beaches. Conditons will become hazardous through tonight, with surf peaking tomorrow morning shortly after high tide. That surf is forecasted to gradually decrease tomorrow afternoon through the evening. The large waves will incrrease run-up distance on beaches and may suddenly wash over jetties. Strong rip currents will develop. Stay clear of the surf zone and jetties.
