***HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT 10:00 PM TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON AT 1:00 PM***

Expect south winds 35 to 45 MPH with gusts as high as 65 inland to 80 MPH on the headlands. Dangerous driving conditions, power outages, and downed trees can happen during these high wind events. This warning covers most of the southern Oregon coast and headlands from Brookings northward through Reedsport. This includes Portions of Highway 101 and Highway 42 and includes Port Orford, Cape Blanco, Coos Bay, Reedsport, Denmark, Langlois, Pistol River, Gold Beach, Nesika Beach, and Ophir. Please be prepared. Do not call 911 if you have a power outage, contact your electric provider. Fasten loose objects or shelter them in a safe place before winds start.
