Logos Players Perform The Imaginary Invalid

The Logos Players present a dinner theater production: Molière’s comedy The Imaginary Invalid. Friday and Saturday dinner theaters will be held October 27th, 28th and November 3rd and 4th with dinner at 6pm followed by the show at 7. In this funny masterpiece The Imaginary Invalid, the hypochondriac Argan wants Angelique, his daughter, to marry a doctor so he can save on his medical bills. But she’s in love with someone else. Soon the household joins in Angelique’s madcap scheme to save true love and give Argan’s doctors a dose of their own medicine. The play is directed by Dave Jordan.
The dinner theater will feature a dessert auction at intermission. As a “theatre for a cause”, all of the proceeds from the dessert auction and half of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Waterfall Community Health Center.
Advance tickets for dinner shows are $15 or $18 at the door. Sunday matinees (no meal) will be held October 29th and November 5th at 2pm. Matinee or show only tickets are $12. All shows are held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1290 Thompson Road in Coos Bay. Tickets are available online at logosplayers.eventbrite.com or call the church office at 541-267-2347 between 9am and 2pm Mon – Fri.
