Look Good Feel Better Workshop Coming To North Bend

The American Cancer Society announces their upcoming Look Good Feel Better workshop at Bay Area Hospital, Monday February 12th from 1 to 3pm. If you, a friend or love one is facing cancer treatment, this class is for you. At the American Cancer Society, they know how important support is while going through treatment and that many patients experience appearance related, non medical changes that can be difficult or confusing. That’s why attending a workshop can make a big difference in how you feel. Their goal is to give you tools to help cope with those changes.

What you can expect by attending? An informative and intimate workshop that lasts about 2 hours, run by a licensed beauty professional. Participation will be at your comfort level. Some women don’t wear make-up in their daily lives, but will benefit from skin care advice or eyebrow application tips. Regardless of personal style you can expect to feel welcomed and supported.

Look Good Feel Better is about more than mascara and lipstick. It’s about being supported, and a little pampered because you are important. It’s also about connecting with other women going through treatment like you. Every year, nearly a million individual beauty and skin care products are donated to create individual make-up kits. Workshop attendees will receive their own free kit. A smile is the most beautiful thing a woman can wear on her face! Call the American Cancer Society and sign up for a class at 1-800-227-2345.
