Myrtle Point man dies in ATV accident

A Myrtle Point man died over the weekend from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. In the early morning hours of Saturday police responded to a report of an the accident on Leep Road in Myrtle Point. when officers arrived at the scene they found 33 year-old Daniel B. Farmer pinned under a Kawasaki side by side ATV. Farmer was transported to Coquille Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police believe that Farmer over corrected on a gravel road and slid into a paved road where the ATV overturned. Farmer was partially ejected from the ATV. He was not wearing his seatbelt.
