“Neeko” Helps Police With Arrest

After being on the job for less than a month, a police K-9 assisted in the arrest of a Bandon man. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office was called by the Bandon Police Department to assist in finding a wanted subject who had run from a traffic stop. Following a search, dog tracker ‘Neeko’ located 36-year-old Justin D. Perry, hiding in heavy brush near Highway 101. Perry was arrested and charged with Probation Violation. Less than one ounce of marijuana was seized from the scene at Bradley Lake . Perry was taken to the Coos County jail where he is being held without bail.
