Neighborhood Park Renamed

10th Street Park in Coos Bay has been renamed “Marshfield Key Club Pirate Park.” The park is located in a neighborhood south of Marshfield High School. The student-led Key Club organization has worked for months upgrading the park through fundraising and volunteer efforts and held a grand opening in May.  School Advisor, Stacey Gulseth, was recognized by the City of Coos Bay with the Mayor’s Appreciation Award. Mayor Joe Benetti presented the plaque at last nights city council meeting recognizing Gulseth’s tireless effort working with the Key Club and communications in making the project possible.
