New Photo of Prelude Released by DA in Death Investigation

Coos County District Attorney Paul Frasier issued a new photo of the Honda Prelude investigators are trying to identify. A person of interest in the recent Road Rage case that resulted in the death of a North Bend man reportedly left the scene in the vehicle. The investigation of the death of 28-year-old Michael David Moore is continuing after he died of extensive crush injuries. Moore had left his disabled truck and reportedly confronted the involved Chevy Tahoe. While walking near a home on Union Avenue in North Bend the Tahoe hit him and the house. The Tahoe driver then abandoned the vehicle a short distance later, a witness indicated the driver got into the red Honda Prelude. In a Press Release today, Frasier said “Despite what is being stated on social media, the vehicle is not a Mustang convertible.” Anyone who recognizes or has seen the vehicle is asked to contact the North Bend Police Department. Authorities are also still looking for 40-year-old Joshua James Thompson as a person of interest. Frasier says investigators are especially interested in talking with any person who saw Thompson on Sunday, December 27th.
