New Recycling Bins Coming to the Coast

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has awarded the Star of Hope a grant of $10,000.00. Star of Hope will use this grant money to purchase recycling containers for redeemable beverage containers. The bins will be placed at public gathering places like beaches, campgrounds, boardwalks and parks.  They’ll be serviced by the Star of Hope which already has a paper recycling program. Star of Hope is a non-profit organization in Coos County serving adults who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities.
